Well, I've been away for ages. I emptied my gallery and decided not to post here again until I'd got out of the painting rut I'd fallen into.So here's the first of a few new ones I've done recently. This was done for the December issue of Art & Prose magazine. Feel free with the crits

As for the background, all I can say in defence is that this was an experiment in speed. I'm not usually the fastest painter, so I thought I'd have a go at completing a painting in one day, so please forgive any mistakes. There are bound to be some

Wonderful work.
She is pressing the button as if it's amusement, or so unreal. Yet she standing in a war zone ?
And I love the blurryish background with the debre flying everywhere.. and she has a smiley face on her army-like jacket.......... OH my. She is a fruit loop? Hahaha
